  • KONE Care™ preventive maintenance programs are tailored to your facility and your needs. We factor in all of the variables to make sure you’re very satisfied with your plan. We evaluate equipment type, age and condition relative to manufacturer specifications. We consider building location, environment, and passenger demand. We talk to you about special concerns and expectations. Then we tailor a program designed to fit perfectly. The scope of our maintenance agreements can be viewed below.

KONE will perform regular safety tests on your equipment, as outlined in the American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators (ANSI A17.1/B44 current edition). An annual pressure relief test will be performed on hydraulic elevators, and an annual no-load test will be performed on traction elevators. Inspection fees related to safety testing are not covered by KONE.
