Optimizing Customer Experience: KONE joins IoT forces with AT&T

KONE recently chose AT&T to connect smart elevators and escalators to IBM Watson cloud. And at the AT&T Business Summit, we explained to more than 3000 thought leaders and industry experts how we’re doing it. Our innovative KONE 24/7 Connected Services solution enables realtime data to predict, maintain and act before a problem occurs, creating a better customer experience and peace of mind for our customers.

KONE Americas Executive Vice President, Larry Wash, demonstrated the value building owners and facility managers will gain, and debuted our KONE Online dashboard that tracks the operation and provides realtime data on the performance of customers’ equipment. The Summit participants could experience this smart building technology first hand, as we showed – live – the vertical transportation system performance using AT&T IoT connectivity and IBM Watson inside the Gaylord property.
