Corporate siteLISLE, Ill. March 6, 2017 – KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, appoints Nicole Manzo as senior vice president of human resources for KONE Americas. She joins KONE from Abbott Diagnostics and has extensive experience in HR leadership with a resume also including Tetra Pak and 3COM Corporation.
As head of KONE Americas’ HR organization, Nicole will lead efforts to empower employees with modern, self-service tools, and advance the role that HR plays for the entire KONE Americas employee-base, approximately 7,000 employees. Nicole will be located at the KONE Americas headquarters in Lisle, Ill., as a direct report to Larry Wash, executive vice president for KONE Americas.

The breadth of Nicole’s experience spans across all HR disciplines including coaching, strategy development and execution, employee engagement, talent acquisition, training and learning development, as well as employee benefits, payroll and rewards programs. She has spent time in a role abroad and led the design and deployment of HR transformation efforts for similar-sized organizations. Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from DePaul University.
